Sitting in Awe

Tonight I sit quietly in awe of my amazing Father. It's been a week of celebration all over again as we've told our story publicly for the first time, starting with our church family, and then as a video for our friends, family, and whoever else it reaches in the world. We've received innumerable phone calls, messages and comments as our story has spread throughout the week. My favorite are the stories we've already received of how our message has encouraged and renewed the strength and faith to stand of those who are facing something in their own lives, or their loved one's. I pray that as we continue to share this story, that God will continue to use it to breathe hope into the hopeless and encourage those feeling defeated. This is only the beginning and I will treasure every single testimony and rejoice with every report as they continue to come in. I will spend the remainder of my days reaching as many people as possible with the life-changing message of the love of my Jesus and the living proof of His power and willingness to heal!

It's so incredibly humbling to be sitting here talking about the vision that God is laying out for us this evening, when a week ago it was a conscious battle to envision what the future was holding at all. I can't even begin to explain the overwhelming relief and joy that comes with that realization. I just keep sitting here with this goofy grin on my face as tears stream out and I fall deeper and deeper in awe and in love with my Savior.

Another favorite moment of this week - my doctor sharing my story - so I had to include it here. I mean, it's not every day that your doctor confirms a medical miracle has taken place! How cool is that?!

If you'd like to watch the video, here's my blurb from the original Facebook post, along with a link to view it. It's pretty much the same info I've written about in this series, but there's just something so powerful in hearing the words. I can't watch it without getting emotional. It's purely a God thing that we were able to make this video without turning into emotional blubbering idiots. There was certainly a lot of prayer and preparation in the days before we made it, because we knew the importance of being able to clearly communicate the message of what God has done, and once again, He didn't disappoint.

July 3rd, 2019 - Facebook Post:

"God is SO GOOD!! This is our story of how He worked a miracle inside of me and what we faced along the way. It wasn’t easy and we are far from perfect, but I’m thankful to know that the one who is, loves us beyond measure! What He’s done for us, He’s also done for you!#untilthewholeworldknows#GodisMADLYinLOVEwithYOU
