First of all, thanks for taking the time to read some of my thoughts!  My name is Tiffany and I'm a wife and a mom, and together, with my amazing husband, Jason, we are pastors and own several small businesses.  We have been married for 18 years (as of August 2020) and have two beautiful, ornery (just like their dad😂) children.  Balancing all of the plates that God has entrusted us with can certainly lead to unique challenges in our lives.  I've blogged for myself, privately, for years.  I've always loved to write and the process helps me work through things I have a tendency to bottle up otherwise (still a work in progress over here).  I've included a few of those older pieces here, and will add more along the way.

Blogging got a bit more serious for me in the summer of 2019.  I won't spoil it all for you, in case you haven't gone back to read those yet (Who Said? - The Series), but it's safe to say it was the hardest thing we've ever faced, individually or as a family.  The Lord told me clearly to write through the journey, for a few different reasons that I know of so far, initially to remind myself of every step along the way, so I could be better equipped to help others.  Now, I hope having raw, emotional content about processing news that rattles your core and to have real stories of how we navigated along the way and the tools that helped us most, will help others as well.  I don't know where He's taking this yet, but I've promised to keep saying "Yes!", so this is me honoring that promise.  Hopefully that anchor series helps you overcome an obstacle in your life as well, no matter what the size may be.  And hopefully, as I continue on my writing journey, those posts will help someone as well.

The word never promises us that every report we receive will align with THE report He has given us, but our trust is to remain in HIS report.  Isaiah 53:1, "Who has believed our report?  And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?"  Regardless of any report I may receive, if it doesn't line up with the truth of God's word and the promises He's given me, then it cannot stand.  We don't always know why things happen, and truthfully, we may never know, but there are some crucial truths we can stay anchored in along the way: God is good, He is madly in love with you, and if you continue to focus on your pursuit of Him and loving ALL he created, He'll cover everything else.  One of the hardest lessons I've learned through everything we've faced, is how to lay down my sword and rest in my Father's arms, while He takes care of me.  Sounds simple enough, right?  It's not easy.  Our job, remaining focused on what He's given us, and the crucial aspect of making EVERY thought line up with the promises of God, He knew it was plenty for us to handle.  Satan doesn't fight fair, he will come at you from every angle, sneaking in to your thoughts just when you thought you were good.  We have to be ACTIVELY evaluating every single thought that comes to our mind, casting out those that don't line up with God's report, and holding firm to those that do.  How do you accomplish that when you've been given news that shakes you to your core?  You can't afford NOT to!  There's too much at stake!  So you run to Jesus.  For us, that meant surrounding ourselves with things that fed our spirit and not fear.  It meant putting down the computer, stepping away from Google, WebMD, or whatever else and pouring in trustworthy messages that build our faith.  It meant a constant flow of worship music in our ears to keep us focused on the promises of God.  It also meant talking to each other, being honest about our feelings and admitting when we were struggling.  And through it all, we never once cratered at the same time!  When I was at my weakest, Jason held me up.  And when he was overwhelmed with emotion or fear, I was there to remind him of the promise.  We couldn't afford to let ourselves spiral out of control, we needed each other, and together, we needed our Father.

All of that, that's why Who Said? exists.  We want to share with you, not only what we've walked through, but practical tips on what God taught us along the way.  In the resources tab, you will find sermons, playlists, and anything else we can think of that helped us through our journey.  You'll also find our testimony video, as well as sermons and abbreviated content about this journey, and many other topics that will encourage you.  If you, or someone you love, is facing something bigger than you, please share our resources with them.  All of the resources and content on this site are free.  We want to offer everything we've learned and everything we continue to discover so that it may help others as well.

If you're in the mood to buy something, check out our merch store!  We have some great items depicting our logo and some of the topics you'll read about here!  Our goal is that you find them awesome enough to sport around town, and hopefully, somewhere along your journey, someone will ask what it means, giving you an opportunity to share the life-changing news of our Jesus and what He's done.  Not only what He's done for us, but for you as well, and His willingness to do the same for them!  Share your story, encourage others, and look for ways to show His love every day!  Our hope, is that some of these items will open doors to do just that!  One of my personal favorites is our logo blanket.  Each blanket comes with a card full of encouragement and information on how to find our resources.  It's a great tool for someone you know that's going through a hard time.  Not only do they get a super soft, cuddly blanket, but words that can literally transform lives!

There's a world out there that needs to hear of His incredible love, to experience this forgiveness and acceptance that they may not even realize they're missing out on!  Your purpose on earth revolves around two things: love God and love people.  As long as we're pursuing that purpose, He ensures victory over whatever comes against us, all the way up to the completion of our role, and then we have the privilege of standing before Him.  What a day that will be and what a journey we have ahead of us before we get there!
